User Account and Password Summary Tables

During configuration of Oracle Content Management SDK (Oracle CM SDK) and related components (such as the Oracle9i Database Server, Oracle Internet Directory, or Oracle Enterprise Manager), you must enter various schema (user) names, passwords, and the like. See the Oracle Application Server 10g Installation Guide for additional information.


Caution:

If you use this Appendix to document any settings in your environment, keep it in a secure place or destroy it after configuring Oracle CM SDK.


Oracle9i Database Server Administration Worksheet

Object Description or Usage Note Default Value or Password Your Setting

Hostname

Name of the computer on which you are installing the product. Fully qualified names such as host1.yourcompany.com

 

 

IP address

Identifies the host at the network card level. Used by Mac clients to initially connect to the AFP Server.

 

 

UNIX root account

Super-user account. Required to initially setup the computer for Oracle installation, and by Oracle Enterprise Manager to run OS jobs.

 

 

Oracle home

Directory path into which Oracle software gets installed. Displays in Oracle Universal Installer as "OracleHome," "OracleHome1," and so on, depending on how many Oracle homes are on the computer already, if more than one.

 

 

Global database name

Uniquely identifies the database throughout the network, in the format database_name.database_domain, where database_domain maps to the network domain, such as yourDB.yourcompany.com.

 

 

Service Name

Identifies a specific instance of the Oracle database.

Defaults to database_name portion of the global database name.

 

SYS

A schema created during installation of the database. Owns the data dictionary.

SYSTEM

Default database administrator account that has privileges on SYS schema objects.

Oracle Application Server Administration Worksheet

Oracle Application Server Instance Name

Name of the Oracle Application Server instance. You create this during Oracle Application Server configuration.

 

 

ias_admin

Management account for the Oracle Application Server instance. You will use this account and password to log in to the Application Server Control.

 

 

Oracle Internet Directory Administration Worksheet

OID server host

Name of the server where OID is running. See Oracle Internet Directory Administrator's Guide for complete information about Oracle Internet Directory.

 

 

Port number/SSL

Port at which LDAP is listening.

LDAP: 389

SSL: 636

 

OID Super user name/ password

Default Oracle Internet Directory super user name and password.

Root Oracle context

Distinguished name of the Root Oracle context in your Oracle Internet Directory instance.

cn=OracleContext

 

Oracle CM SDK Administration Worksheet

Schema name

Owner of all Oracle CM SDK objects in the database.

 

 

Schema password

Password for the Oracle CM SDK schema. You must create one during the configuration.

 

 

system

Default Oracle CM SDK administrative user. Has privileges on Oracle CM SDK schema objects. Can start and stop Oracle CM SDK domain.
